Landscape Designer & Estimator

• $40,000 to $60,000

• Starkville, MS location

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with clients to understand landscaping needs, preferences, and budget constraints.

• Develop concepts for design-build projects and create landscape designs meeting client requirements.

• Use design software (CAD preferred) for drafting and illustrating landscape plans.

• Incorporate sustainable design principles into landscape projects, selecting appropriate plants, materials, and hardscape elements for the location.

• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates that accurately reflect the scope of work and sales price.

• Assist sales representatives with site surveys and client meetings.

• Design and estimate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to budgets and customer needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Design or a related field

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Knowledge of landscaping, hardscaping, and basic plant knowledge

• Ability to use a cost book for developing estimates

• Proficiency in design software (CAD preferred)

• Strong multitasking skills

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
